The Lost Symbol a novel from Dan Brown

I bought the book after waiting for months. I got it from fullybooked at gateway araneta cubao. I think I was the first one who bought it from that store. I just finished reading the novel. Here’s my attempt at a review.

Basically the book is all about Freemasonry and the secrets it keeps. I wont go much on the details of the plot as this is really an interesting novel. The only faults I found was the book was a page turner at first few hundred pages then it drags on.

Interestingly the book covers the initiation rights of Freemasonry. Also some of the rituals that are for freemasons. I read somewhere the if Dan Brown is a mason, he wont have any liberty on telling this rituals. But the door is always open for him. Well the door is open for everyone.

The book deals with the founding fathers of USA. Most of the founding fathers are actually Freemasons. Well almost all our national heroes are Freemasons too. Jose Rizal is a Freemason. Bonifacio is one so is the one who ordered his murder Aguinaldo.

After reading Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol and want to know more about Freemasonry a lot of Freemasons are happy to talk to you. After all it is not a secret society but it is actually a society with secrets. As they say the door is always open for those who seek the truth.

and no I am not a Freemason. But I will be :)
